Turtle Mountain Day Supports expanding into Rolla, ND

MVAW purchased a 5000 square foot building to be used for Day Supports in Rolla.  The sale was finalized December 16th and the move into the building will be completed by the end of the month.  The additional space was needed to replace square footage scheduled to be eliminated in Belcourt, as well as to allow for future expansion.

Turtle Mountain Day Supports started in Belcourt in 1999.  The program will operate at both locations, with management and transportation coordinated out of Belcourt.

TMSS-Belcourt has developed several work opportunities for people enrolled in the program.  The Thrift Store offers jobs sorting, preparing, and stocking donated merchandise as well as customer service jobs.  Custodial jobs are available on a work crew that cleans several area businesses.

People with disabilities interested in enrolling in the program should contact Lake Region Human Service Center in Devils Lake for information.
