Construction is under way for an eight-unit apartment building in Belcourt. Excavators and concrete personnel have been busy getting a start on the foundation. The project has already experienced a short delay caused by the discovery of excess black dirt and loose fill under one side of the planned building. The black dirt and loose fill will need to be removed and replaced with compact material suitable for supporting a building foundation. The building will be ready for occupancy in late fall 2010!
