Jasper Schneider, State Director for USDA, and Joline Kline, Director of the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency, presented checks to MVAW at the ground-breaking ceremony for Turtle Creek Apartments in Belcourt.
Construction on the eight unit apartment building will begin immediately, with completion scheduled in six months.
In addition to Schneider and Kline, Tribal Chair Richard Marcellais, John Bole, Director of the North Dakota Department of Human Services Developmental Disabilities Division, and Roger Tollefson, Chairman of the MVAW Board of Directors.
