Cars were lined up outside the building and down the street as 230 customers converged on The Recycling Center to take advantage of Earth Day Specials. People seeking Double Tokens, a special aluminum price, and freebies to the first 100 customers brought in recyclables including cans (aluminum and steel), cardboard, office paper, magazines, newspapers, and books.
Promotions to the first 100 cars included a reusable shopping bag donated by MarketPlace Foods. Each bag contained a coupon for a free car wash donated by Toad’s, a tree seedling donated by Ward Soil Conversation Service, and an Earth Day button.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle…we are proud to be part of saving the earth and it’s resources for our grandchildren.
