Construction at the Rolla apartment building is on schedule for a June 1st occupancy date. Windows and doorframes are installed, sheetrock is complete, most rooms have been taped, and some rooms have been painted. The building includes eight single bedroom apartments (complete with living room, kitchen, and bathroom), a large commons area with a full kitchen and living room, and space for staff: an office, bathroom, and meeting room.

A Program Director has been selected and started training for the position. Additional staff will be hired and trained in May. The number of positions will depend on the needs of the people that enroll in the program.

At this time, there are still apartments available. Interested people can contact the Lake Region Human Service Center to start the enrollment process. Enrollment will be phased in over several months.
