Supported Employment 

Supported Employment is a short term program that allows initial training and stabilization for a person in their work setting..  This program generally lasts 9-18 months at which time the person transitions into Extended Services. [Read More]

Extended Services

Extended Services is a long term program that allows ongoing support for a person while at work.  People enrolled in Extended Services are generally capable of working at community job sites or on contract job sites with the support and assistance of a Job Coach.  [Read More]



Day Supports

Activities may include a broad range of pre-employment skill training for people who want to work. People participate in specific work skill training, such as following directions, completing work tasks, improving work quality and work quantity, getting along with co-workers. [Read More]

 

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is an important part of many people's lives.  The opportunity to give one's own time provides a positive reflection for people.  People are supported to volunteer their time and become socially connected to people at various volunteer sites.  [Read More]

Job Opportunities

MVAW owns and operates The Recycling Center and an industrial Laundry facility.  MVAW also has  contracts with Minot Air Force Base and Grand Forks Air Force Base to operate the postal service center, warehouse shelf stocking, and janitorial/custodial services.  [Read More]
