Family Support Services

Short-term Respite Care is provided when the parents/primary caregivers are home and extra support is needed or while they are absent. The major focus of this program is the family caregiver.  Services are available to assist people with disabilities to live at home with their families.  This service can be delivered in the family home or in another location. 

This program provides specialized trained support staff to meet the individual needs of the person.   These services may be provided when the family caregiver is at home, but needs support at specified times.  

Support is also available to the family when they need to be away from the home for such activities as attending medical appointments, meetings, or shopping.
