Fluorescent Bulb & Ballast Recycling Collection Service
Fluorescent bulbs contain mercury and the ballasts may contain PCB's. Both are wastes which require specific management if from regulated generators.
Although the City of MInot landfill will accept small quantities of bulbs and ballasts from a residential customers or unregulated generators, the Environmental Protection Agency considers fluorescent bulbs and ballasts an environmental and human concern.
Recycling is a better option. The North Dakota Department of Health works with the EPA to ensure proper treatment/disposal of PCB's.
The Recycling Center is a permitted transfer station. We will guarantee that your fluorescent bulbs are safely recycled. Certificates of destruction are issued after recycling is complete.

Four foot bulb: $.60 per bulb
Eight foot bulb: $1.27 per bulb
