Minot Vocational Adjustment Workshop Educational Assistance Fund

The Owen H. Larson – Bremer Educational Assistance Fund was established at Bremer Bank in October 2007 with the donation of $75,000 from the Otto Bremer Foundation.  Earnings from the fund are to be used for educational assistance for MVAW employees.  Educational Assistance may include tuition, fees, books, and/or a stipend payment to the employee.  The degree under pursuit (undergraduate or graduate) must contribute towards professional competence in an existing position at MVAW.

All MVAW employees are eligible to apply.  Prospective recipients must submit an application form to the President/CEO of MVAW by March 31st for consideration for the following fall semester.

Selected employees must agree to continue working for MVAW for a specified time period after completion of the degree.  The written agreement contains provisions for payback in cases where the employee does not comply with terms of the agreement.
